Travel Dates

We received our travel dates yesterday we leave on August 14 and return on August 30. We are very excited and still have lots to do. Please pray for our family as we leave our children for two weeks and go get our baby girl.

Finally we have TA

We finally received our travel approval on Thursday July 24, We will be leaving in three weeks and be holding our sweet baby very soon. We received a update on Makenna she looks very healthy.

Baby shower

Today our church showered us with gifts for Makena. We received lots of things we needed and some beautiful blankets and clothes. On the way home Kayla said Mom I love our church I said I agree we really are blessed to have such a great church and sunday school class. Thanks to everyone who was involved in the shower we really appreciate it. I will post some pictures later.

WE HAVE LOA

We received on letter of acceptence today we will travel within four to seven weeks. We are very excited and can't wait to hold Makena in our arms. The next few weeks will be very busy with paperwork and packing.

Preschool shower pictures

On May 29, the girls I work with gave us a shower. Makena received lots of nice gifts. I can't wait to take Makena to meet all of these ladies.

Update on Makena

We had a family that was visiting the orphanage check on Makena for us we found out that she has been placed in foster care. The family said that the orphanage was very small and lots of babies. We pray that Makena is being taken good care and for the family that she is with.

ROTC

Josh was in the ROTC at his school this year he really enjoyed all the activities and things he learned. In May he went to the Navy ball and awards program. He looked so handsome in his uniform. We are very proud of him.
