Sunday in China
Today we went for a great breakfast also had to exchange some money and did alot of walking around the island. It is very peaceful here and the people are so nice. We had dinner at Lucy's cafe which has great western food. We met some other families that are also receiving there babies tomorrow. We only took a few pictures today one of a christian church and some of the waterfall at the white swan. I will post after we get Makenna tomorrow.

We are finally going to China
We were starting the adventure of going to get Makenna. I have never been so excited,scared,happy,nervous,worried and sad all at the same time. We had to be at the airport at 7:30 so with all the traffic we left our house at 6:15. We didn't even stop for breakfast. Before we left we said a prayer for our safety and for us to just stay calm and know that God is in control of all things. By the way this was the first flight for us ever. The flight from Charlotte to Detroit was very crowed and a little warm. We had a four hour layover in Detroit so we grabbed lunch and played a few games of cards before we met some of the families that we would be traveling with.
We called and talked to the kids and with the grandparents. It was almost time to board the next flight which was going to be very long 13 hours when my cell phone rings it's our agency telling us our flight from Tokoyo to China had been cancelled and they wanted us to get on another flight. After all the families found out we were trying to get all the info and flights switched when the airline said go ahead and they would take care of everything before we got to Tokoyo.
The next flight was very long and we were in the back seats of the plane. We tryed sleeping just too excited for that. The plane was full and we met some very nice girls from China that was traveling back home after visiting family in the US. When we landed we met up with the rest of our travel group it was 8:00 Friday night. The airlines told us we had missed the next flight to China and they were going to get us on the next flight which was on Saturday. They were going to take us to a hotel and pick us up in the morning.
It took us three hours to get all our luggage and get someone to drivr us to a very nice hotel. After we got to our room we was too tired to eat all we wanted to do was try to skype the kids and go to sleep. We tryed for over an hour to call the kids with no luck then we decided to get some sleep and try again later. We woke up at 4:00 and could not go back to sleep. we took showers and was starving for some breakfast though we had to wait until 7:00 for that to open so we watched a few dvd's and walked around the hotel.
After breakfast which was great by the way we checked out of our hotel and when back to the airport and waited for our next flight. We bought a calling card and tryed to call the kids I thought they might be worried since we were suppose to call them earlier. Still we didn't get to talk to them I was so sad and missed them very much. The next flight was very empty and we had room to stretch out. I got very sick feeling on this flight. I was so happy when we landed in China and could not wait to see the sights and sounds of our daughter homeland.
After getting to our hotel and going to exchange money so we would be able to buy some drinks and supplies. We decided not to go to the group dinner we were exhausted and wanted to call the kids and go to bed. After waking the kids up at 6:00 to talk to them we were off to bed. I remember thinking I can't believe I finally made it to China after three years of praying.

Update photos and travel plans
We received a update with pictures and mesurments she looks so big and heathly. We have all our appointments scheduled and flights booked. We will hold our beautiful baby on August 18, and then stay in China and fly home on August 30.

Travel Dates
We received our travel dates yesterday we leave on August 14 and return on August 30. We are very excited and still have lots to do. Please pray for our family as we leave our children for two weeks and go get our baby girl.

Finally we have TA
We finally received our travel approval on Thursday July 24, We will be leaving in three weeks and be holding our sweet baby very soon. We received a update on Makenna she looks very healthy.

Baby shower
Today our church showered us with gifts for Makena. We received lots of things we needed and some beautiful blankets and clothes. On the way home Kayla said Mom I love our church I said I agree we really are blessed to have such a great church and sunday school class. Thanks to everyone who was involved in the shower we really appreciate it. I will post some pictures later.
