It was April 15, when our lives were changed forever at 7:30 on Tuesday morning I was vaccuming and heard the answer machine I thought it was one of the kids saying they forgot something I was going to continue to clean and listen to the message a little later until I heard the area code 303 I started runing to the phone not fast enough. I listened to the message and Denise the waiting child cordinator said please call her back as soon as possible. At first I thought I misunderstood and I listen again and my hands was shaking when I returned the call I knew this was the call we had been waiting on. When Denise told me all the details I knew before looking at her picture that she was our daughter. We are so blessed with the little girl God gave us.The pictures are from our referral and the other I took this morning.

We had a great Easter weekend with some family we decorated eggs and had a egg hunt. Kenna wasn't to sure about the egg dye so Kayla had alot of fun and Kenna was happy just watching. The egg hunt was the best Kenna found lot's of eggs and then it was time for Mommy and Kenna to hide them when Kayla and Maw-maw came outside to find them Kenna started pointing to all the eggs we had hid. I hope everyone has a great Easter and remember "He is Risen".

We got Kenna a sand and water table at first she didn't like getting sand on her hands now she loves it and wants to play in it all the time. Also we had slushie for the first time we have a slushie maker and the kids decided we needed to make Kenna her first one. She loved it and after finishing her she went to everyone else and took a bite.

Our zoo trip didn't goes a planned but still had a great time. Thursday we got up bright and early to get started on the two hour drive. Dana could not go with us due to work I would have postponed by the weather was suspose to be great so I decided to go with the kids by myself. After stopping for breakfast the trip was very quiet Josh, Kayla and Kenna fell asleep. When we arrived we were stuck in traffic trying to get into the zoo parking I was thinking it's going to be a crazy day. After we got inside it was nice and peaceful. The Zoo was great the kids were awesome and everyone seem to get along just fine. Kenna favorite things were the fish and monkeys. Her face was priceless when she seen the monkeys swinging in the trees. The gardens were in full bloom and beautiful. We will be going back to the Zoo soon.

This week is spring break for the kids so far we have not done much at all except clean out a few closets. The expedition is having a few problems which we hope to have fixed today so we can head to the zoo tomorrow. The weather has been cold and Thursday is suppose to be in the 70's. I can't wait even the older kids are excited about the zoo.
